Volunteer Opportunities
St. Peter's parishioners volunteer with the Peter Paul Development Center in the food distribution program by packing and distributing food bags.
Volunteers work at the Anna Julie Cooper Episcopal School by providing tutoring and other needs. Community members are involved with Re:work Richmond as mentors and resource persons. To learn more, visit the Re:Work Richmond website. Volunteers are welcomed and encouraged to participate in Prayers to Go. Our vision is to have several teams of two that can sit on the corner at different times of the days and different days of the week. Please email St. Peter's at stpeterschurchhill@gmail.com for any of these opportunities. Additional opportunities are available with the PPDC. If you have persons who want to volunteer or donate, please get in touch with Joy Gilchrist, Peter Paul's Volunteer Coordinator at jgilchrist@peterpaulrva.org. If you would like to donate resources please contact Sharon Burton, the Director of Education. Regarding Tutoring, Mentoring, Seasonal Needs, click here for additional opportunities to serve at PPDC. |
Additional Opportunities will be posted on this page as they emerge.
