Recognizing Juneteenth with Celebration,

2024
St. Peter's and its partners hosted more than 200 people to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth. The day included outdoor activities at nearby St. John's Episcopal Church, a parade to Peter Paul RVA, a prayer service, a performance by Ezibu Muntu of African dance and drumming, and a complimentary lunch at St. Peter's.
The event, hosted by St. Peter's, St. John's and St. Philip's episcopal churches, commemorated the ending of slavery.
