Neighborhood Bible Study
We have several neighborhood bible studies. The longest running takes place on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 9 a.m. during our food distribution. It will resume after the pandemic. We also offer Bible study via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Church members gather with community members to ask questions about what the Bible is saying to our real life circumstances. All are welcome. For further info, contact Lindsay Komline. Sunday School and Children's Ministry
These opportunities will resume once St. Peter's returns to in person services. Information will be updated at that time that will provide the details necessary for you and your family members to participate. Should you desire to learn more before we are back in person, just send us an email at stpeterschurchhill@gmail.com. Food Distribution
St. Peter’s, in cooperation with the Peter Paul Development Center, distributes food to neighbors in need on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The food is packaged on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 pm and takes 60-90 minutes. It is distributed on Wednesday mornings starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting about 2 hours. Volunteers are needed. To volunteer and learn more email stpeterschurchhill@gmail.com. The Sharing Circle is an opportunity for us to share our resources in needs with each other during this pandemic. Marc Lockhart is the contact person for the sharing circle. St. Peters has started a sharing circle during this time of the coronavirus where we can connect parishioners in need of assistance with those who can meet those needs. Deacon Karla Westfall Hunt is available for pastoral needs if you would like a phone call to stay in touch or prayers by telephone. The sharing circle is open to all parishioners. Confidentiality is observed. Youth in the Neighborhood We are building relationships with the young men and women in the group homes near St. Peter’s. In observance of Christmas, St. Peter’s members made and filled stockings for each of the residents. Watch for more information regarding how this relationship grows. If you have questions please email Deacon Karla Westfall Hunt. Intercessory Prayer Group The Intercessory Prayer Group meets by Zoom at 3:00 pm the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. All are welcome. To join contact Nikki Fernandes. |
