Juneteenth

Beginning in 2021, St. Peter's and St. John's have celebrated an annual Juneteenth commemoration. Participants gather for a worship service to remember past injustices, memorialize those who worked so hard to show us the way and recommit ourselves to a new way of being. On June 19, 2023, we celebrated the third annual Juneteenth commemoration.  The service was followed by a performance by the Elegba Folklore Society, fellowship, games, a bouncy house and lunch.  Please see below for links to photos and videos.
